The Media Plans tool lets you pitch selected influencers to clients, stakeholders, or internal teams using a clean, professional-looking report. It also gives you campaign forecasts based on your chosen influencers — all with minimal setup.

What you can do with media plans

  • Present influencers in a structured and branded format

  • Estimate campaign results using performance projections

  • Collect feedback from clients or stakeholders via approval buttons and comments

Step 1: Add influencers to your Media Plan

You can build a media plan using three methods:

Option 1: From Discovery

  • While browsing influencers in Discovery, click the three-dot menu

  • Choose Move to Media Plan

  • Select an existing plan or type a name to create a new one

Option 2: From My Network

  • Open an existing creator list

  • Select one or multiple influencers

  • Use the three-dot menu to move them to a Media Plan

Option 3: Manually inside the Media Plans tool

  • Open Media Plans

  • Click Add influencer and search manually by account handle

Step 2: View automatically calculated campaign projections

As soon as influencers are added, HypeAuditor will:

  • Estimate campaign metrics based on influencer data

  • Show reach, engagement, cost, and other relevant figures

You can fully control which columns are visible:

  • Go to Customize → Metrics Visibility

  • Disable any metrics you don’t want to show

Step 3: Personalize the media plan

In the Settings panel, you can:

  • Rename the media plan

  • Upload a custom background image and logo

  • Enable/disable stakeholder controls like:

    • Approve/Reject buttons

    • Influencer notes field for stakeholder comments or internal notes

Notes can be added by both your internal team and external approvers.

Step 4: Set campaign context and audience targeting

Inside Campaign Settings, you can define:

  • Timeline of the campaign

  • Currency for cost estimates

  • Target audience — by country, gender, and age

Example: If you're targeting women aged 25–34 in the US, the system will automatically calculate what percentage of each influencer's audience matches that target. This data will be visible inside the plan.

Step 5: Customize creator profiles and content expectations

Click on a creator’s card to edit key details:

  • Change price for the collaboration

  • Adjust location, average views, likes, comments

  • Specify expected content type (e.g., 2 posts, 0 stories)

These details are visible to stakeholders, helping them understand why you chose each influencer.

Step 6: Leave internal or external comments

For each influencer, you or your team can:

  • Leave notes like “Great engagement rate in the US”

  • Stakeholders can also leave comments like “Please ask for additional photos”

Comments help keep everyone aligned without switching to emails or spreadsheets.

Step 7: Share the media plan with clients or stakeholders

Click Share to generate a public link. Key facts:

  • Recipients don’t need a HypeAuditor account to view the plan

  • Stakeholders can:

    • View analytics and your notes

    • Leave their own comments

    • Approve or reject individual influencers

You’ll receive an email notification when feedback is submitted.

Step 8: Act on stakeholder feedback

Inside the Media Plan, you’ll see:

  • Which influencers were approved or rejected

  • All comments listed clearly per account

From here, you can:

  • Remove rejected influencers

  • Make updates and re-share

  • Or export the finalized list directly into a campaign

  • Download the plan as a PDF for presentation purposes

The Media Plans tool is perfect for collaborating with clients and internal teams — without long email chains or manual decks.
