Post Level
When you click on a post, you can see the sentiment analysis. It shows the percentage of comments that are positive, negative, and neutral. The text of the comments is analyzed using AI to help make these conclusions.
Sentiment analysis has 3 categories:
Positive: comments that represent joy, happiness, approval, and an overall positive attitude to the given post.
Negative: comments that represent anger, sadness, disagreement, and an overall negative attitude to the given post.
Neutral: comments that could not be considered positive or negative and lack any emotional meaning.
Campaign Level
At HypeAuditor, sentiment analysis for campaigns is performed by aggregating all comments from all posts. You can see campaign-wide sentiment analysis results in the Influencers and Reporting tabs, as well as in reports you share.
Why Sentiment Analysis Matters for Influencer Marketing
Sentiment analysis helps brands and marketers go beyond surface-level engagement metrics and understand how an audience actually reacts to a creator's content across a campaign. A high share of positive comments indicates that followers genuinely appreciate the content. Conversely, a notable share of negative comments may signal audience dissatisfaction or controversy — an important brand-safety consideration. Tracking campaign-level sentiment aggregated across all posts and influencers gives a clearer picture of whether the overall campaign is resonating with the target audience.
