HypeAuditor estimates an influencer's audience location by analyzing their active and engaged audience—primarily users who interact with the creator's content by leaving comments.
Rather than relying solely on profile information, the location model uses engagement data together with additional publicly available signals to estimate where audience members are located. This approach provides more reliable geographic insights than using profile data alone, as many Instagram users do not publicly disclose their location.
Audience location is available at different levels of granularity, including country, state (where available), and city.
