What is Audience Authenticity in TikTok reports?

Learn what Audience Authenticity means in TikTok reports and how to use it to evaluate the quality of a creator's real audience.

Written by Iren

Audience Authenticity reflects the percentage of the total authentic audience. You can use this to understand the quality of a creator's real reach.

It takes into account Generators, Consumers, and Influencers, as these audience types are considered to be real profiles — in contrast to Suspicious accounts, which are excluded from the authentic audience count.

For brands and marketers, Audience Authenticity is a key signal when evaluating a TikTok creator. A higher authenticity score means that a larger share of the creator's followers are real, active people — making their reach more valuable for campaign planning, creator selection, and ROI estimation.

Some ranks will indicate whether the audience is good, average, or could be improved. Each metric has a benchmark for similar-size creators.
