How does Country Ranking work?

Learn how Country Ranking is calculated in HypeAuditor and which country rank is highlighted in an influencer's report.

Written by Iren

Country rank is based on the number of real followers and authentic engagement from that country.

All creators take part in several country rankings. If the majority of a creator's audience comes from Germany, France, or the UK, then they participate in those countries' rankings respectively.

Only one Country Ranking is highlighted in a report. Along with the country indication, HypeAuditor shows other places where the audience might come from. If the vast majority of the audience comes from a particular country — it is shown in the report (it should exceed 30%).

If the creator's core audience comes from Brazil, Indonesia, India:

their Country rank in these countries will be the following:

India - 75
Brazil - 62
Iran - 54
Indonesia - 78

If the highest Rank is in Iran (1), in a report you will find Iran Country rank accordingly.

Why Country Ranking matters for influencer marketing

Country Ranking helps brands and marketers quickly identify which market an influencer is most relevant to. When evaluating creators for a geo-targeted campaign, for example, a product launch in a specific country, the highlighted Country Ranking makes it immediately clear whether an influencer's most engaged, real-follower base aligns with the target market. This allows for more precise creator selection without having to manually cross-check audience geography data.

Country rank is calculated using authentic engagement from real followers in each country, ensuring the ranking reflects genuine audience interest rather than inflated numbers.
